The idea of bringing good music in the town’s Central Park, thus being accessible to everybody, was born in America in the 70s and has rapidly spread to big European cities. In 2013 we brought it for the first time in Romania, in Cluj-Napoca.

More stages on which jazz, blues, folk and classical music is being played, all live, for those walking in the park or come especially for the event. Music from morning till evening, with Romanian and foreign artists. Friends, family and relaxation, wine, blankets, hammocks, sandwiches, bicycles, book and craft fairs.

After last editions’ success, Jazz in the Park brings more joy and a few more surprizes for Cluj residents in 2015, this year’s edition being dedicated to the Youth European Capital. The Central Park remains the heart of the festival, where the access for the events which will take place on the three scenes is free. The project extends on the Someș shore, where we will arrange for the residents of Cluj the Grigorescu beach, and on the Hungarian Opera, with two concerts, which remain a surprise. This year, we want to involve the community even more in the activities held during daylight, and, for this, we prepared a few exhibitions, a book fair and other surprises.
